Racine County has one of the best highway transportation networks in the U.S. Located In the heart of the I-94 Corridor connecting the major metropolitan areas of Milwaukee and Chicago, Racine County is a prime location for manufacturers, distribution centers, and corporate office facilities.
Interstate Highway 94 links Racine County with Milwaukee and Chicago, while U.S. Highway 45 and State Highways 11, 20, 31, 32, 36, 38 and 83 integrate the county. State Highways 75, 142 and 164 connect Racine County with adjacent counties.
Interstate 94 connects Interstate 90 near Billings, Montana, to the Canadian border in Port Huron, Michigan. I-90 extends 341 miles in Wisconsin, more than any other state along its route except North Dakota. Interstate 94 connects Racine County to Eau Claire, Madison, and Milwaukee to the west, and Chicago to the east.
