The Racine County Economic Development Corporation (RCEDC) was created in 1983 to promote long-term business investment in Racine County. A private nonprofit corporation, the RCEDC is led by a 29-member Board of Directors, representing a Partnership among business and government.
The RCEDC's role in the community has changed dramatically over the last decade. Beyond providing financing to
businesses, the RCEDC also offers technical expertise to solve problems
that help existing firms grow and expand, works to improve the quality
and availability of the workforce, and facilitates intergovernmental
cooperation through strategic partnerships locally, regionally and with
the State of Wisconsin.
Support for the Corporation is diversified including corporate sponsors, individuals, the Racine County Board, service contracts, and loan administration fees. The RCEDC Board of Directors asks you to "Join the Partnership" and support Racine County's economic base.
